Assistive Campus Project

Ericsson P900 & Socket Bluetooth GPS

The Assistive Campus Project is an effort to prove the viability of wireless assistive technology delivered over commodity devices, such as PDAs and cellular phones. There are three main components to the Assistive Campus project, all of which combine powerful server-side processing with inexpensive client devices in order to deliver assistive solutions. Given the use of open tools and standards, project extensibility is ensured and per-user customization is possible.
